Lynette “Lynn” M. Thorne, age 64, a Two Rivers resident, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
She was born July 27, 1958 in Manitowoc, daughter of Lawrence “Larry” and Virginia (Krupka) Miller. Lynn attended Mishicot High School, graduating with the class of 1976. Following high school, she studied horticulture at Lakeshore Technical College, Cleveland. On November 25, 1978 Lynn married Terry Thorne at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. She provided in-home daycare to children for over 35 years. Lynn loved to golf, camp, and ride her bike. She also enjoyed watching musicals. Above all, Lynn loved spending time with her family, especially her kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
Lynn is survived by her husband: Terry Thorne; three children: Kelley (Melanie) Thorne, Jackie (Alex) Bruder, and Kendall (Sarah) Thorne; six grandchildren: Ayden, Myles, Ella, Lily, Kobe, and Reagan; her parents: Larry and Virginia Miller; her brother: Gary (Marlene) Miller; sister: Cheryl (Randy) Valenta; father-in-law: Donald Thorne; sister-in-law: Beverly Bersch; brother-in-law: Brad (Julie) Thorne; Aunt: Lois Miller; and her dog: Willow. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Clarence and Vivian Miller; maternal grandparents: George and Elizabeth Krupka; and mother-in-law: Carol Thorne.
Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Noon on Friday, June 30, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen. Following the Mass, a luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at Noon on Friday, June 30, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc.
