For the second week in a row, most eastern Wisconsin counties saw a drop in gas prices.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County was the only area where the price remained the same since this time last week, sitting again at $3.46 per gallon.
Sheboygan and Calumet Counties each reported single-cent declines to $3.39 and $3.42 respectively while Outagamie County saw a nine-cent drop to $3.37 per gallon.
Brown County reported the largest decline in our area, dipping 11 cents to $3.31 while Kewaunee County fuel is down four cents to $3.36 per gallon and Door County motorists are paying six cents less per gallon compared to last week with an average of $3.32 in the county.
The state average also dipped five cents to $3.47 while the national average remained unchanged at $3.57.
When compared to this week last year, the seven-county area we cover is paying significantly less at the pump.
Averaging out the prices this week, we are paying $3.38 per gallon, and 52 weeks ago, the average was up to a staggering $4.78 per gallon.
