Roncalli Catholic Schools has received a donation from a local volleyball tournament.
The 47th Annual TRCC Volleyball Tournament was held at Denmark Cycle Park, and raised a total of $3,373, which will go to offset the cost of youth sports at Roncalli.
Rusty Walesh and David Anschutz presented the check to Roncalli teacher Dave Mueller and Athletic Director Nathan Kaderabek.
Additionally, Anschutz donated $675 from him and his wife, who work concessions at the park.
Kaderabek said of the over $4,000 in donations, “Proceeds from the concessions at the Denmark Cycle Park also will have a positive impact on Roncalli athletics. Community events such as these help to keep students engaged in sports activities.”
