A local veterans group is hosting an agriculture-based fundraiser this weekend.
American Legion Post 477 out of St. Nazianz will be at Shadows Bar in School Hill for their Tractor Day, Brat Fry, and Fund Raiser.
The event will run from 10:00 to 2:00 p.m. and is being described as “fun for the entire family.”
While there will be the usual fare of bucket raffles, silent auctions, and a 50/50 raffle, there will also be things for the kids to do.
This includes a face painter and a balloon twister, both of whom will be out back beneath the pavilion.
Brats, and potato salad will be served, and a tractor parade will take place at noon.
Proceeds will benefit the post’s upcoming Veteran Banner project, Veteran Suicide Awareness, Youth Sports and their Youth Scholarship Programs.
