Jeanne L. (Bonnefoi) Lynch, age 79, a Green Bay resident, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at Bellin Health Oconto Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born July 5, 1943 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Henry and Mildred (Groll) Bonnefoi. Jeanne was baptized, confirmed and was an active member of the former Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. She attended Lincoln High School, graduating with the class of 1961. Following graduation, Jeanne continued her education at Stout State University, graduating with a Master’s Degree in Home Economics Education. Jeanne was employed with WLUK for over 40 years, until her retirement in 2017.
Jeanne is survived by her brother and sister-in-law: F. Charles and Lois Bonnefoi, Manitowoc; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: David and Shirley Lynch, Green Bay; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear friend Monica Louis. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Mildred Bonnefoi; one brother: John Bonnefoi; husband: Gary Lynch; and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Richard and Mavis Lynch.
Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a Life Celebration Social will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc. Jeanne will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, at a later date.
