A trial will be held in the case of a Port Washington teacher who is accused of threatening his students.
In Thursday’s hearing for Grafton resident David Schroeder, the judge came to that conclusion.
Schroeder allegedly threatened students at John Long Middle School after discovering a swastika drawn in his seventh-grade classroom, according to the prosecution.
Schroeder allegedly informed the class that he had 17 guns in his basement and would “blank them up.”
On July 12, Schroeder is anticipated to enter a plea.
