The violent summer in Milwaukee isn’t going anywhere.
According to local police, three of the 12 people who were shot between late Sunday night and yesterday afternoon died.
This includes a double shooting that resulted in the death of one man, two shootings that occurred separately on Sunday night and resulted in the deaths of two people, as well as a shooting on Milwaukee’s north side in which a neighbor shot and killed a dog before shooting the dog’s owner.
Six people, all teens, were wounded during a shooting at the end of Milwaukee’s Juneteenth celebration.
