The victims of this week’s small plane crash in Watertown are now known.
Authorities announced yesterday that the crash on Wednesday morning claimed the lives of a 73-year-old grandfather and his eight-year-old grandson.
Nobody has yet revealed the cause of the plane’s crash near Brandt Quirk Park. The NTSB and FAA are both conducting inquiries.
Nevertheless, the FAA stated yesterday that the plane was intended to travel from Watertown to Manitowish Waters.
According to the Watertown Police, Brandt Quirk Park will remain closed through the weekend so that the debris can be cleaned up.
