A Minneapolis man who threatened to kill the family of the teen who killed Lily Peters during a drunken 911 call is facing a $1500 fine.
According to Chippewa Falls Police, Herbert Badalich of St. Paul made the threats over the phone one week after Peters’ passing last year.
He claimed that the case had him angry and frustrated.
Later, Badalich claimed he was inebriated when he made the call and posed no danger to anyone.
He received a fine from a Chippewa County judge yesterday for acting disorderly.
