A year and a half after the death of Jason Mendez-Ramos, all three people involved in his death have been sentenced.
Judge Beau Liegeois sentenced Jeisaac Rodriguez-Garcia to four years in prison and three years of extended supervision after he was convicted on a charge of Mutilating a Corpse as Party to the Crime.
Rodriguez-Garcia had helped Alexander Burgos-Mojica and Pedro Santiago-Marquez burn Mendez-Ramos’ body on the UW Green Bay campus in September 2021 after he was killed over a drug deal.
Santiago-Marquez was sentenced to life in prison for the actual killing, while Burgos-Mojica was ordered to spend a year in prison for his role in the clean-up efforts.
