A crash in rural Outagamie County left a motorcyclist dead Wednesday.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department reports that they were called to the intersection of County Trunk Highway E and Greiner Road north of Appleton at around 10:30 p.m.
The initial investigation revealed that a 52-year-old Seymour man was riding his motorcycle north on Highway E while a 40-year-old Grand Chute man in an SUV was traveling west on Greiner.
The SUV failed to yield to the biker at the intersection, and hit them, killing them at the scene.
The SUV driver sustained minor injuries.
It is not clear if any charges will be filed as the investigation is ongoing.
