A Green Bay teen was in court earlier this week as she faces charges in the overdose death of a young man in December.
16-year-old Maylia Sotelo appeared for the continuation of a reversal hearing as her defense team aims to have her case transferred to juvenile court.
She is currently being charged as an adult on a charge of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide, Delivering Drugs.
A narcotics officer with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office took the stand and as WBAY TV reports, he referred to her as the largest drug dealer of fentanyl in Brown County Schools.
He also noted that this fentanyl seizure, amount-wise, was in the top ten in the county last year.
Sotelo was arrested after an 18-year-old man died from a fentanyl overdose, and the trail of evidence led to Sotelo.
She allegedly provided the victim with a fentanyl lased Percocet pill.
Sotelo is due back in court on July 17th.
