The DNR has issued a warning regarding drugs and weapons in some state parks.
At High Cliff in Calumet County, according to Lieutenant Chris Shea of the Department of Natural Resources, several people have been taken into custody.
Shea claims that although most of the arrests have been for “shenanigans,” they did have to detain someone for target practice on public property.
Shea claims that most visitors to state parks behave properly, but he issues a warning to those who don’t, saying that the DNR will not put up with misbehavior.
