Janet M. Anderson, age 89, of Manitowoc passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, with her family by her side at her residence at Felician Village.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier, with the burial of her remains to take place at Knollwood Cemetery at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m.
Survivors include her children: Pamela Mott, Manitowoc; Alvin (Julie) Anderson, Manitowoc; Teresa (John) Sisel, Two Rivers; Christopher Anderson, Manitowoc; Veronica (Mike) Kihl, Kaukauna; Thomas (Jane) Anderson, Sheboygan; 10 grandchildren: Dennis (Kari) Vogel, Aaron (Alaina) Vogel, Jeremy (Paula) Anderson, James (April) Anderson, Kayla (fiancée Corey DeGrave) Anderson, Hunter (fiancée Vy Shavlik) Anderson, Ethan Anderson, Joshua (Samantha Haese) Sisel, Abby Anderson, Grace Anderson; 11 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Lila Freidenberger. Janet was preceded in death by her parents: Blasius and Vera Freidenberger; her husband Norman Anderson; three sisters: Ruth Popp, Verna Duvall, Shirley Polzar; two brothers: Harold and Robert Freidenberger; three brother-in-laws: Harold Popp, Frances Duvall, Charles Polzar; one sister-in-law; Eunice Freidenberger; son-in-law, Thomas Mott; and a great-grandchild, Thomas Norman Anderson.
The Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes, Klein & Stangel location, assisted the Anderson family with funeral arrangements.
