The Manitowoc Lincoln Ships fell to The Golden Beavers of Beaver Dam by a score of 3 to 1 in a WIAA Division One Sectional Semifinal Baseball Game played Tuesday at EJ Schneider Field in Oshkosh.
Beaver Dam took a 3 to 0 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning when the Ships mounted a rally.
They were able to score a run to get to within two but could get no closer as Beaver Dam hung on to eliminate the top seeded Ships.
Noah Wech gave up 2 runs, only 1 earned thru 6-and-a third innings of work and took the loss.
The Ships finish their best season in school history with a record of 20 and 5, to go along with a conference and regional championships.
