The City of Manitowoc received a $500,000 grant from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
This grant is meant to fund cleaning up the River Point District Phase 2 Redevelopment Area and to support community outreach activities.
This funding will allow the city to remediate sites and move forward in further expanding the housing options throughout the community.
Mayor Justin Nickels said of the grant, “We are excited to add another chapter to our history of collaboration with the EPA and to continue building on the recent successes achieved in our River Point District.”
