There are two meetings scheduled for today in the City of Manitowoc.
The Room Tax Commission will gather in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m. where they will elect a Chair and Vice Chair.
They will also enter a closed session to get an update on the lawsuit with the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Finance Committee will take over the Chambers.
They will be reviewing the 1st quarter claims report and a request to increase the Department of Infrastructure credit card limit to $5,000.
The committee will also discuss a proposal to spend $53,000 on a security system at the Rahr West Art Museum before discussing the sections of the municipal code that relate to mobile food vendors and direct sellers and purchasers.
