It was a closely contested matchup Saturday, but the Manitowoc County Mariners come out on top with a 16-12 win over the Brown County Blackjacks.
Austin Isley had a great day offensively, as he secured six catches for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Defensively, Linebacker Dan Jansen was all over the field, recording eight tackles, six assisted tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble.
With the win, the Mariners even their record at 2-2.
They will next be on the road for the third week in a row, as they travel to Rockton Illinois for a matchup with the Winnebago Warriors this upcoming Saturday.
Kickoff at the Rockton Sports Complex is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
