A fire in the Sheboygan County Town of Lima severely damaged a residence last night (June 1st).
According to Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department Sargent Jesse James Smith, the County Communication Center received a call reporting the fire at N2975 Sunset Drive just after 9:30 p.m.
Fire crews arrived on the scene to find that the blaze started in the garage and spread to the main structure.
It was quickly extinguished, but not before both structures suffered severe damage.
The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
A total of seven fire departments responded to the scene, including those from the Town of Sheboygan Falls, Oostburg, Cascade, Waldo, Adell, Cedar Grove, and Random Lake. First responders from Oostburg and Cedar Grove.
The Sheboygan County Fire Investigation Team also assisted.
