The soccer program at Roncalli Catholic Schools recently received a significant monetary donation from a local family.
In honor of Connie Zoch, the sister of Charlotte Fricke, the Fricke family donated $9,000 to the program.
This money, which comes from the Zoch Memorial, is being used to install a Tannoy sound system at the field, which includes loudspeakers, a digital matrix processor, a digital wireless handheld system, and all the accessories to mount the speakers.
Nathan Kaderabek, the Athletic Director for Roncalli Catholic Schools says, “Having access to an audio system like this enhances the quality of our athletic program.”
The system was actually installed prior to the end of this season and was first used on May 23rd as Bob Fricke sang the National Anthem ahead of Roncalli’s match against Two Rivers.
Bob’s sultry tones seemed to help, as the Jets went on to win that match 2-0.
