Madison-area pro-life lawmakers want to define what constitutes an abortion.
A few pro-life state representatives and state senator Romaine Quinn unveiled the “Embrace Them Both” plans Tuesday.
The first plan would make clear that dealing with miscarriages or ectopic pregnancies is not the same as having an abortion in Wisconsin.
Other proposals would include unborn children in Wisconsin’s child tax credit and establish a funding source for pregnancy centers and adoptions there.
According to Quinn, the goal is to support life beginning at conception.
