
A Green Bay man has been convicted in a string of arson incidents.
60-year-old Thomas Smith was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on three counts of Arson of a Building, and Possession of Burglarious Tools among many others.
The fires in question were mainly set between March and May of 2021, but the earliest was in July of 2020 when Smith set fire to a vehicle in Green Bay.
He was also deemed responsible for a fire a Peters Concrete in Green Bay, Joe Schmit Motors in Little Suamico, S&B Trailer Sales in Suamico, Lok-Safe Storage in Green Bay, and another in Suamico where an ice shanty was damaged.
He is due to be sentenced in October.
