The Fond du Lac Police Department is investigating a potential shooting incident.
Officers were called to the 100 block of East 3rd Street early Sunday morning on a report of gunshots.
Police scoured the area, but could not find any evidence, but when they returned with the aid of daylight, bullet casings were found just one block over on East 2nd Street.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the shooting, nor has any property damage.
