At the Capitol, the PFAS grant program for Wisconsin is moving forward.
A statehouse committee was given the task of overseeing the proposal yesterday, which would provide funding to local governments for PFAS testing and treatment costs.
State Senator Eric Wimberger of Green Bay claims that communities all over the state have been waiting for assistance with their local water supplies for years.
In addition to the $125 million grant program for PFAS research that will be included in the new state budget, this grant program is also available.
