Manitowoc Tool and Machining has announced the purchase of another machining company based in Ixonia Wisconsin.
MTM is now combining forces with G&V Machine Company, giving the local company an excess of 400 employees and over 210 CNC machines between both locations.
The Jefferson County based company was founded in 1946 and provides machining needs for many sectors, including construction, agriculture, and off-road highway trucking to name a few.
Rick Swoboda, the President of Manitowoc Tool and Machining said “G&V Machine Company represents a great investment opportunity for Manitowoc Tool & Machining. We see many avenues for continued growth, including sharing best practices and industry knowledge.”
MTM has stated that they intend to continue operations as is and will operate the southern Wisconsin facility under the G&V name.
