The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the man who died in a weekend crash in Green Bay.
Investigators say 76-year-old Robert Mitchell of Howard was driving east on Bayshore Park Road Sunday (May 21st) when he collided head-on with another vehicle driven by a yet unidentified 20-year-old woman.
Mitchell died at the scene, while the driver of the second vehicle and her 20-year-old female passenger, were able to escape their vehicle before it burst into flames.
Both were treated at local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
