An Appleton man was arrested in Beaver Dam after he led police on a short high-speed chase.
The incident all began Wednesday afternoon when the Bever Dam Police Department attempted to pull over a stolen vehicle.
The car, being driven by 36-year-old Pao Yang, sped off at a high rate of speed on Highway 151, and while police kept up the chase for a while, they eventually lost sight of Yang.
However, shortly thereafter, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office dispatched deputies to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Well Road near County Highway G in the Town of Lowell.
When they arrived, they found the stolen vehicle wrapped around a tree.
Yang was flown via Flight for Life to a nearby hospital, and upon his release was taken to jail.
