Wisconsin has joined the lawsuit filed against a telemarketer who is accused of making countless numbers of automated calls.
The state wants to hold Avid Telecom and its owner accountable, according to Attorney General Josh Kaul’s statement from yesterday.
Between December 2018 and January 2019, according to Kaul, Avid sent or transmitted more than 7.5 billion robocalls to individuals on the Do Not Call List.
Every state in the union, with the exception of Alaska, is included in the lawsuit.
