There is only one meeting today in the City of Two Rivers.
The Room Tax Commission will be in the Council Chambers at 11:00 a.m. where they will discuss the launching of Explore Two Rivers.
They will also get a report of Room Tax Revenues and will discuss the status of the budget before considering an agreement with Two Rivers MainStreet for providing visitor services.
They will then enter a closed session to discuss a request from the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau regarding a potential partnership.
This proposal would send some of Two Rivers’ Room Tax dollars to the MAVCB in support of tourism promotion and development.
