Pride events have been held across the country for decades, but there has never been one in Manitowoc.
That will all change on July 29th when the Lakeshore’s United Visionaries host their Lakeshore Pride celebration.
The family-friendly event will take place at the Stage Door Pub, located at the corner of Franklin and South 7th Streets in downtown Manitowoc from noon to 5:00 p.m. on July 29th.
There will then be an after-party for those 18 and older at the Two Rivers Community House from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
The LUV organization says that Lakeshore Pride will be “an event celebrating our local and statewide LGBTQ+ community members and allies.”
