Denise A. Hein, age 54, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.
Denise was born on February 16, 1969 in Manitowoc to Jo Ann (Gerhard) Hein and the late Robert Hein. After graduating from Lincoln High School with the class of 1987, she went on to graduate from Lakeshore Technical College. Denise had worked as a teacher at multiple daycare facilities. She an avid crafter, scrapbooker, and ancestry researcher. Denise was a super cat mom to her special cats – Boogie and Stitch.
Survivors include Denise’s mom, Jo Ann (John) Allen; step-sister, Lorna Allen; special friend, Joe Raynier; goddaughter, Gabriel Pate; also aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Arthur and Marie Gerhard; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Helen Hein; father, Robert Hein; and uncle, Thomas Hein.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with Deacon Alan Boeldt officiating. Following the memorial service, a luncheon for family and friends will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
