A Manitowoc man has been arrested after a child came forward to report repeatedly being sexually assaulted.
Officers met with the victim at the Lakeshore Child Advocacy Center last Friday (May 12th) to hear her story.
The child told the officer she was worried that the 35-year-old man would get in trouble and that he would be mad at her for telling their “secret”.
She then disclosed seven separate instances where the man touched her inappropriately or forced her to touch him.
She also told the officers that he “likes to watch her change” her clothing.
The suspect was apprehended on Tuesday at his home, where he denied any wrongdoing.
He is facing a charge of Repeated Acts of Sexual Assault of the Same Child.
