
U.S. News has released its top 150 Best Places to Live list, and Green Bay took the top spot.
The organization looked into all of the metropolitan cities in the country and ranked them based on desirability, value, the job market, quality of life, and net migration.
They say of Green Bay, “[it] has the perfect mix of big-city amenities complemented with a Midwestern, small-town feel. This city boasts a thriving entertainment and arts scene, revitalized downtown, and two college campuses, creating an energy that may appeal to young families as well as retirees.”
Green Bay also ranked 27th U.S. News’ Best Place to Retire, 7th on their Best Places to Live for Quality of Life, #8th Cheapest Place to Live, and #18 on the Safest Places to Live list.
Also making the Best Places to Live list were Madison at #11, and Milwaukee which was ranked #65.
