After a fire, a historic old church in Ozaukee County is completely destroyed.
Last night, firefighters in Belgium were unable to preserve the Lake Church Inn.
The fire, according to Belgium’s fire chief, began in the kitchen before spreading to the second level through the walls.
For two and a half hours, firefighters battled the blaze before opting to demolish the structure.
The building, a landmark in Ozaukee County, was 150 years old.
Fortunately, no one was harmed in the incident, which required the efforts of twelve fire personnel.
