The S.S. Badger is gearing up for her 2023 season.
The Badger’s 70th Anniversary season will kick off with all the usual pageantry on Thursday, May 18th at the Manitowoc Car Ferry dock at noon.
Event attendees will be treated to the musical talents of the Lincoln High School band while waiting for the boat’s arrival and have the opportunity to meet alpacas from LondonDairy Alpacas.
Mayor Justin Nickels will welcome the Badger, and the leadership team for the ship, along with Wisconsin Department of Administration Secretary Kathy Blumenfeld, who will read and present a gubernatorial commendation for the 410 foot vessel.
The 2023 season will run through October 9th, and the shoreline cruise dates are set for June 17th, July 22nd, and August 12th.
