Gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin are down again marking the third consecutive week of declines in our area.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price per gallon in Manitowoc County fell three cents over the past week, and now sits at $3.25.
Sheboygan County reported a nine-cent drop since last Tuesday and now averages $3.26 per gallon, while Calumet County saw a ten-cent decline to $3.20.
Outagamie County’s average is down 8 cents to $3.16 while Brown and Kewaunee Counties each fell seven cents to $3.20.
The largest drop of the week came in Door County where the average fell 13 cents to $3.14 per gallon.
Additionally, the state average fell six cents to $3.31, and the national average is down seven cents to $3.52.
The combined average of the seven-county area we cover is also down pretty significantly from this time last year.
According to our records, on this date last year the average in Eastern Wisconsin was $4.07 per gallon, and this year we are at $3.20, an 87-cent difference.
