Two Manitowoc residents are facing drug charges after officers searched their home.
The search was conducted on the residence in the 800 block of South 19th Street on Tuesday, where officers located methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
When the officers told the 52-year-old man who owned the home that he was being detained, he cussed at them and resisted being placed in handcuffs.
In the struggle, several dishes were scattered across the kitchen.
He was eventually taken into custody, where he told investigators that he and a 48-year-old woman, who was also detained, lived in the residence.
He then admitted that the meth was both his and the woman’s and that they shared it.
The woman admitted to using in the home but said she doesn’t live there full time.
Both were arrested on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine while the man was also charged with Resisting or Obstructing an Officer and Felony Bail Jumping.
The woman is being held on a PO hold.
