The now-15-year-old who is charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting an 87-year-old woman in Waukesha has started his trial.
In Khalil Perry’s trial, the prosecution made its opening remarks and called its first witnesses.
He allegedly kidnapped a woman outside of Waueksha’s public library in November 2021 while just 14 years old, stole her car, and forced her to commit a sex act on him.
Perry is examining adult accusations of kidnapping, armed robbery, and first-degree sexual assault.
Perry has agreed to the armed robbery and kidnapping, according to his attorney, but he still denies the accusations of sexual assault.
