
Despite a four-run inning, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers fell in their first game in Peoria Illinois, 5-4.
The hometown Chiefs jumped out to a two-run lead in the 2nd, but the Rattler bats came to life in the 3rd.
With the bases loaded, Darrien Miller knocked a two-out single to center field tying the game.
The Rattlers would load the bases again, leading to an Eduardo Garcia single, and a 4-2 lead for Wisconsin.
The Chiefs would score two runs of their own in the 3rd before taking the lead for good in the 6th.
Joseph Hernandez had a rough start on the mound, allowing the first four runs through two and two-thirds innings without striking out a single batter, while the bullpen only allowed two more hits, one of which scored the winning run.
Wisconsin, which has lost 6 of their last 7 games, will look to rebound quickly as they are squaring off with the Chiefs again at Dozer Park at 11:05 this morning.
Cameron Wagoner will try for his second win of the season as he squares off with Cooper Hjerpe.
