Manitowoc County has been awarded $24,000 in federal funds to assist with emergency food or shelter needs.
The Emergency Food and Shelter Program of Manitowoc County is now accepting requests for funding from agencies providing county residents with emergency food or shelter assistance.
The assistance is available for shelter, food, housing, rent, and utilities.
The deadline for applications is Friday, May 12th, and they are to be submitted to United Way Executive Director Ashley Bender.
