There are a pair of meetings scheduled for today in the City of Manitowoc.
First, at 5:00 p.m., the Common Council will hold a special meeting in the Council Chambers.
The Council will be looking over the bids received by the Board of Public Works for various upcoming asphalt projects.
Then at 5:30 p.m., the Personnel Committee will take over the Chambers and will give the public time to comment.
They will be reviewing the quarterly report on the health plan and other reports from the Human Resources and City Attorney’s Offices before looking over a request to hire seasonal employees.
They will also enter a closed session where they will conduct police contract bargaining for 2024 through 2026.
