Following a fire the morning of January 17th, Globe Laundry in Manitowoc has been trying to get back to normal.
The fire was contained in a rather small area of the cleaner, but the smoke and water damage caused some major issues inside.
A note from the owners indicates that the reconstruction process has been taking quite some time, and they expect it to take a few more months to be completed.
The clothes that were in the building at the time of the fire also suffered some smoke damage but have since been cleaned and returned to their owners.
As for when Globe will reopen, that is unclear, as the owners say in their note “We still have no answer. Sadly, nothing has been going right so far.”
