Manitowoc’s LaDeDa Books is celebrating Independent Bookstore Day tomorrow (April 29th) with two very special guests.
Mayor Justin Nickels will be at the store located at 1624 New York Avenue at 11:00 a.m. where he will chat with the children in attendance about his job.
The popular storybook character Pete the Cat will also be on hand to teach everyone how to do his signature dance, the Pete the Cat Boogie.
Both featured guests will be available for photos and autographs as well.
Additionally, gift certificates will be hidden throughout the store and discounts will be given to those who sing a song or correctly answer a trivia question.
