Several area hospitals are among the 115 around the state to receive a Wisconsin BigShot Award from the Department of Health Services.
The Wisconsin BigShot award is an annual recognition that celebrates providers in the Vaccines for Children Program who are leading the way in protecting children’s health by ensuring their youngest patients are up to date on their vaccinations.
Earning the award in the Hepatitis A category were numerous Aurora Health Care locations around the state, including the ones in Manitowoc and Sheboygan, along with Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Pediatrics and Sheboygan Pediatrics.
Aurora was also well represented in the routine childhood vaccine category, where the Two Rivers Clinic was honored twice.
