At Wednesday night’s Brewers game, a fallen Milwaukee police officer received a standing ovation.
The group paid tribute to Officer Peter Jerving. He died while performing his job back in February.
The Brewers hosted his family, put up his photo, and had Jerving’s nephew throw out the first pitch last night.
Jerving was a devoted Brewers fan, and according to his pals, he would have cherished the recognition.
The award for Brewers Hometown Champion was accepted by Jerving’s parents.
