The Wisconsin State Patrol has identified the individuals involved in a fatal semi vs pedestrian crash over the weekend.
The initial investigation indicates that 25-year-old Alec Nelson of Green Bay was traveling north on I-41 south of Holland Road near Little Chute in a semi at around 6:15 p.m. Sunday when he struck 42-year-old Scott William Valley of Little Chute.
Valley died from his injuries.
Alcohol has been determined to have not been a factor in the incident, and Nelson is not facing any charges.
The State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Fox Valley Metro Police Department, Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, and Appleton Police Department.
