
Students from around the lakeshore will be converging at Roncalli High School today (April 25th) and tomorrow to participate in choir and band festivals.
Choir students will gather for a Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) sanctioned festival today, and tomorrow will be focused on students involved in band.
Each school’s concert ensemble groups will perform before a panel of adjudicators during the festivals while students from other schools listen in as part of their own learning experience.
The choir festival will draw concert choirs from area schools including Manitowoc Lutheran High School, Mishicot High School, Notre Dame de la Baie Academy, Pulaski High School, Pulaski Community Middle School, Roncalli High School and Two Rivers High School.
Concert bands from Chilton High School, Lincoln High School, Mishicot High School, Pulaski High School, Roncalli High School, Manitowoc Lutheran High School and Two Rivers High School will participate in the band festival.
Corey Van Sickle, band director for Roncalli High School, will serve as the festival manager for both events, which are free, and open to the public.
