The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers split the final two games of their weeklong series with the Quad Cities River Bandits over the weekend.
The Rattlers won on Saturday 6-1 in Davenport Iowa, but lost Sunday 9-2 ultimately losing the series 4-2.
Joe Grey Jr. had a good weekend at the plate, going 4-9 in the final two games.
The only other batters to pick up multiple hits in either game were Jose Acosta, who put two balls in play Saturday, and Alex Hall, who did the same on Sunday.
On the mound, three pitchers combined to strike out 11 batters in both games, however, the relief pitchers couldn’t contain the Bandits batters, allowing 8 runs in the final four frames.
The Rattlers will look to right the ship starting tomorrow when they open up a home series against the Beloit Sky Carp.
