A Manitowoc woman is facing her 3rd OWI among other charges following a hit-and-run crash over the weekend.
Officers were sent to the 1300 block of South 18th Street just after 1:00 a.m. on a report of a hit and run.
The responding officers noticed debris and fluids on the roadway near the intersection of South 13th and Green Streets and noted that the fluids led to a car parked in a driveway in the 1100 block of Green Street.
A woman was slumped over in the front seat whom officers noted as being heavily impaired.
The woman resisted being placed in handcuffs while struggling to maintain her balance and slurring her speech.
She was taken to a local hospital for an evidentiary blood draw, where she once again was resistant to officers’ orders.
She was eventually taken to the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Resisting an Officer and OWI, her third offense.
