It was a night to forget for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
The Appleton-based baseball team fell behind early and couldn’t recover as they fell to the Quad Cities River Bandits on the road 11-4.
Rattler pitcher Cameron Wagoner gave up 7 runs on only 4 hits through his four and-one-third innings of play, and Max Lazar gave up the remaining 4 through the final 3 frames.
Offensively, the Rattlers’ 5 hits were split between Terence Dotson, Michah Bello, and Alex Hall, who also was responsible for driving in all 4 Wisconsin runs.
Two of those came on a two-run homer run in the 9th inning.
The Rattlers will look to quickly bounce back in Davenport Iowa tonight.
First pitch in game four of the six-game series is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Modern Woodmen Park.
Tyler Woessner will look to start 3-0 against Chandler Champlain.
